The fruitful end

From the start of our computer course I expect a lot of essential learnings, starting with the so called www., MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.
I really learned alot, this is because with the dynamic and very efficient and effective professor, no other than Mr. Joseph Tagudin.
These learnings will help alot of my work, I can easily correct errors, move paragraphs, and reprint my document, I can readily format my data, I can present my presentation elegantly and professional-looking presentations using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and the WWW.

Did you really know what power point is? From our lecture last Saturday Sept.12,2009,it is a complete presentation that provides everything you need to communicate ideas and information into engaging effective, interesting and professional-looking presentations.
From the lecture of our professor, in using the program, I can now prepare good individual slides, a perspective outline of a presentation and I can also handle a graphics layout, clipart and more.
On the presentation that I will be doing, with powerful features such as charts, clipart, animation, transition and multi-media effects and I assure you that the information is easily be conveyed, and with the combination of printed text and pictures it enhanced your capability, your retention.

Excel-lent

I really learning a lot from our professor. Now I know how to deal with some of the different menus or tabs on Microsoft Excel.
These different menus or tabs helps me better on dealing with my school papers, such as the computations of grades of my 1st – 4th year students.
At start its harder to use these menus but if you really want to do and makes your work easier to deal with, just learn to be patient .
I hope it’s not only me learning these things but also with my classmates.
I wanted this coming Saturday to learn more.

ESSENTIALS OF MICROSOFT WORD 2007

Hi! Good day again.
I want to say that last meeting was a new discovery of unfamiliar Microsoft word menu. I am really learning a lot of new things about this subject matter.
I appreciate the efficiency / competence of our professor, because he manage the class so well, in addition to this he really delivered and achieved his goal of the said lesson. And as a result we his student learned so well.
After he discuss the whole topic about the Microsoft Word, he is able to give us an activity, in these activities he expect that all the information that he discussed about the Microsoft Word will be used in an orderly manner.
I really hope that I could start and finish all the activities assigned to me.

MS Word 2007 @ a Glance

August 01, 2009. Another fruitful discussion/lecture on our subject Computer 1. The discussion/lecture is all about Microsoft office specifically the Microsoft Word 2007.
He introduced the class about this Microsoft Word 2007, he toured us how to get access with this kind operation. Of course I had a minute knowledge of this so when the professor discussed this and toured us with the different menus, I told myself I should pay attention because I guess many of the menus,tabs are new to me.
The following are the basic menus or task on Microsoft Word 2007:
1. The tool bar Menu which include the task bar Clipboard, the font, paragraph, styles and editing.
2. The tool bar Insert which include the task bar pages; tables illustrations such as picture, clipart, shapes, chart ,etc.; links; header &footer; text; and symbols.
3. The tool bar page layout which include the task bar theme4s; page set-up; page background; and paragraph.
4. The tool bar references which include the task bar table of contents; footnotes, and etc.
5. The tool bar review which includes the task bar proofing; comments; tracking and many more.
6. The tool bar View which includes document views; zoom and many more.
7. The way/ or other way of saving a document was also discuss.
To sum-up, this discussion/lecture provides ways to use and configure the application together with the different menus of Microsoft Word in an exciting way.

The Demonstrator

Hi! Good day again, well last Saturday, July 04, 2009, I was the demonstrator. I voluntarily demonstrate how to create an email account, specifically a Gmail account.

Gmail account is an email account to be utilize in creating our blog and to have an access to blogger.com.

First, I typed the gmail.com to proceed to the front page of the said web site, after doing it, I begun to fill out all the information needed prior to have an email account. After this I have officially created my email account.

Second, I typed the blogger.com then it follows the pop-up front page of the said web site. I, again fill out the information needed to create my blogger account, then it was successful. It was totally an example, I already have my account.

After the demonstration, the professor ask me to open my blog. Then I did open my blog. Unfortunately, my blog was missing. I reason out that after typing my blog I save it then I click the Publish Post. I thought that after doing such thing my blog will automatically posted. My fault is I did not check it if my blog is really posted, its really missing then. So I learned, I should double check it if it is really done , posted and published well.

About the other happenings, our professor, discussed the remaining topic about the Internet. This was the creating and making a virtual group, the Yahoo Group. Our professor thought us on how to create this virtual group. The function of this Yahoo group is that it allow us to post and create our Saturday activities. It is a big help to us and to our professor as well.

After the three hour class, the professor remind us that the next lesson to be tackled is the MS word or office, then he distributed or sold some bundles of raffle tickets to the whole class, then what to expect after, he dismissed the class.

Extraordinary Comp.1

June 27, 2009, the day that we have formally started the computer subject or course. Our Professor done a roll call, and collected the class card for the other students that first time to attend this class. After the certain class rituals, he started to introduced the chapters to be done after the semester.

The requirement for the course was stated and the use of the Internet followed. He discussed some information regards to the use of the internet, such as how to create an e-mail account, blog account, about the search engines, ect...

As a student enrolled at Computer 1 subject is another experience for me. I know for a fact that I have already a knowledge about computer, but since the discussion last June 27, 2009 brought me some new concepts about the subject.

These new concepts will surely and absolutely enhance my productivity and creativity through computer. I do hope that our Professor will equip us with new knowledge needed to be competent individuals in the Information and Technology age.

As I noticed, some of my classmate have no knowledge about the computer, I hope that after the course they will gain an academic edge using computers as tools for learning, productivity, creativity and entertainment.

I do hope also that this course will be enjoyable for the whole semester.
